I finally got this picture scanned so I could add it to the blog. We went to see the Jolly Holiday Lights shortly after Thanksgiving and the kids had their picture taken with Santa in his Workshop.

- First and foremost I'm a mom and I love it! I waited a long time to be called Mommy by someone and cherish every moment. I'm married to a retired sailor and we both work full-time. I work in the insurance industry and my husband, Matt, works as a field repair technician. We adopted our little guy through the foster care/adoption program. He was placed with us when he was 6 months old and had just turned 2 the month before our gotcha day. God certainly blessed us and he was well worth the wait. We love family time and spending time with family and friends. We are Lutheran Missouri Synod and are active in our Church. We love to travel and Schmoo is already a seasoned traveler. He travels so well, which is such a blessing. Everyday seems to bring a new adventure.

I miss Jolly Holiday Lights. They have a display similar to that here, but we missed it. We'll have to see it next year.
